Discuss, consider and/or take action to authorize the County Judge to sign an American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Funding Agreement with Lubbock Economic Development Alliance (LEDA) for the infrastructure in the negatively impacted area of East 19^th Street and Loop 289.

Comment:

This agreement will fund $5,000,000.00 for the rehabilitation of East 19^th Street from Loop 289 to 0.75 miles east.  Project will include widening to a four-lane concrete pavement with curb and gutter. The project will also include traffic control and phasing, driveway improvements, drainage improvements, lighting, signage and stripping.

Signature by the County Judge will be contingent on Lubbock County being able to verify any active exclusions through an “Active” System for Award Management (SAM) registration for the vendor.
