Discuss, consider and/or take action to authorize the County Judge to sign a professional services agreement with Forensic Pathology Services, LLC dba Forensic Pathology Staffing for testimony, deposition, case preparation and review services.

Comment:

This agreement will allow FPS to provide services to the DA’s Office for the cases they have processed as well as an option to provide services on older cases if needed. Cost will be $600/hour for FPS cases and $850/hour for older, non-FPS cases.  The cost listed are for services by the Forensic Pathologist while they are on their rotation at LCME and as arranged with the DA’s Office.
