Discuss, consider and/or take action to authorize the County Judge to sign a loan agreement with the Roosevelt Volunteer Fire Department.

Comment:
This loan is in the amount of $300,000.00 and is for the purchase of an All-Poly Servies 3000 Gallon Tanker-Pumper on a Freightliner M2-106 Tandem Axel. The truck is anticipated to be ready mid to late October for pick up in Minnesota. This truck was ordered on a grant awarded by the Texas Forest Service. Once the grant payment is issued the loan will be repaid in full, repayment is expected in FY27. Should repayment not take place by July 31, 2027, there are terms in the loan that will make repayment by reductions in their fire suppression and rescue agreements beginning in FY2028.
