The Budget Committee, which includes the Commissioners’ Court, may attend. The Budget Committee will hear request from County departments which are requesting County funding for FY2027. These requests may include but are not limited to precinct road operations and maintenance, capital expenditures, salaries, benefits, personnel issues, departmental operational expenses including travel and training expenses, contract and professional service expenses, and other budgetary requests. Discussions may include but are not limited to budget policies, priorities, timelines, and updates. These workshops will be recorded and posted on the Lubbock County website at www.lubbockcounty.gov the Monday following the workshop. Other workshops may be scheduled in August.
